So this is Adventure Fish Top End, essentially its a blog i've set up to share all my fishing and adventuring exploits throughout the stunning Top End of Australia. I cant believe i've just thought of doing this. There have already been a number of memorable trips and adventures embarked on since i relocated here from the South East in May of 2009. I spent 8 days fishing the beautiful Port Essington on the Coburg penninsular in North West Arhnem land in october 2010. And most recently me and my partner spent 4 weeks 4wding and fishing throughout the Kimberly, including a 15 day expedition into the remote Walcott Inlet for some true remote Barra action.
Anyways thats in the past. The core idea behind this blog is to deliver stunning photos and in depth trip reports as quickly as i can. The laptop will be coming on every fishing adventure or misadventure and posts will be added whenever internet service allows. So whether your a local Darwinian wanting some up to date reports, a daydreaming southerner, or just procrastinating your way through work, hopefully i can post enough cool stuff to keep you interested and show that anyone can get up here and soak up the best of what Australia has to offer.
